Request for Proposals
The Doyle Creek Watershed Joint District No. 86, Newton, Kansas, is requesting a qualifications and cost proposal to provide construction Quality Assurance (QA) and survey services for the construction of Floodwater Retarding Dam (FRD) No. 11 in The Doyle Creek Watershed. FRD No. 11 is located in the southwest portion of Marion County, Kansas. The full request, a Statement of Work (SOW), and other project information are available from Brian Lang, Contracting Officer. The full request outlines the selection criteria to be used to determine the award. The SOW provides the requirements for the QA and survey services for construction of FRD #11, with record keeping, and documentation acceptable to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. The other project information includes construction drawings, construction specifications, construction layout drawings, construction stormwater prevention plan, and a draft copy of the proposed construction contract.
