Notice Concerning Kansas Voluntary Cleanup and Property Redevelopment Program

In accordance with K.S.A. 65-34,173, KDHE reports the following summary on behalf of the Voluntary Cleanup & Property Redevelopment Program for year 2025. During this annual reporting period, KDHE received 7 applications with a cumulative total of 815 applications. The categories of applicants include agriculture (25%), industry (25%), commercial (16%), oil and gas (23%), government (3%), and private citizens (2%). A total of 16 sites competed investigation/remediation that led to the issuance of No Further Action (NFA) Determination letters in 2025. A cumulative total of 437 sites have been issued NFA letters.
