The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) is amending the following Kansas Medicaid 1915(c) Waiver: Technology Assisted (TA).

The proposed amendment covers the following:

1. Waiver Administration:
   1. Clarified independent assessing entity’s role
   2. Updated language
2. PCS service:
   1. Updated PCS Checklist
   2. Removed virtual delivery of service for PCS
3. Updated Legally Responsible Individuals language
4. Updated Unduplicated Count
5. The state has increased rates approved by the Legislature.
6. Cleaned up language in the Service Plan Development process

The proposed effective date for the Technology Assisted waiver amendment is May 1, 2026.

KDADS is seeking public comments from January 15, 2026 through February 14, 2026, on the proposed amendment.
