Notice to Bidders
The purpose of this request is to invite sealed bids from qualified general contractors for construction of the Solomon Valley Transit Facility, located at 101 W. 22nd St., Beloit, KS 67420.
Addendum Notice
This Request for Bids includes two (2) addendums, which are hereby incorporated into the bidding documents:
- Addendum 01 – Issue Date: December 23, 2025
- Addendum 02 – Issue Date: January 7, 2026
Bidders are responsible for reviewing and acknowledging both addendums in their bid submissions.
Project Description
Construction of a new 6,000 square foot transit facility including administrative offices, public lobby, conference room, staff workroom, kitchen/breakroom, restrooms, support spaces, and enclosed parking for eight (8) passenger vans. Site improvements include access drives from 22nd Street, circulation drives, and eighteen (18) parking spaces including two (2) ADA-compliant spaces. Contract will be awarded as lump-sum construction.
Bid Submission
Bids must be received on or before 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) January 15, 2026. Bid opening will occur immediately following the deadline. Bids are irrevocable for 30 days after the due date.
