Notice of Prehearing Conference

The Chief Engineer of the Kansas Department of Agriculture, Division of Water Resources will hold a prehearing conference at 10:00 a.m. December 1, 2025, via Zoom, in the matter of the proposed Wichita County Local Enhanced Management Area submitted by Western Kansas Groundwater Management District Number 1. The purpose of the prehearing conference will be to select a date for the public hearing regarding the proposed local enhanced management area, to specify the procedures to be followed at the public hearing, to set any applicable deadlines, and to consider any other matters necessary for conducting the public hearing.
