Notice to Contractors
Project
Rehabilitation of Detention Dam Site 114 in Woodson County, Kansas, located 9 miles north and 3 miles east of Yates Center, Kansas for Cherry-Plum Creeks Watershed Joint District No. 17.
General Scope of Work
Rehabilitation of dam rehabilitation with 840 tons of rock riprap for wave protection, 155 tons of riprap for outlet channel protection, and 80 tons of riprap for fence barrier construction totaling 1,075 tons of rock riprap repair; 90 linear feet of 12-inch diameter PVC principal spillway pipe with associated canopy inlet, drainage diaphragm, and trash rack; 130 linear feet of 6-inch diameter PVC drawdown pipe with associated 6-inch diameter gate valve; downstream embankment tree removal and slope repair; project earthwork; seeding and mulching.

A non-mandatory (attendance) site showing will be held at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the intersection of 200th and Prairie Rd., Yates Center, KS 66783.

Bids
Sealed, hard copy bids will be received by Matt Miller, until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 1524 W. 217th, Osage City, KS 66523. Sealed, hard copy bids may also be hand delivered to the bid opening location.
Electronic bids will be received by Matt Miller at mmiller1@eocene.com until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025. It will be the responsibility of the submitter to ensure Matt Miller receives the electronic bid.
Bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price, must be submitted with each bid. Security may be in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s or certified check, postal money order, or cash. If check or money order is used, it must be made payable to Cherry-Plum Creeks Watershed Joint District No. 17. Whether submitting bids by hard or electronic copy, bid security will be received by Matt Miller until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 1524 W. 217th, Osage City, KS 66523, or hand delivered to the bid opening location.
Bid Opening
A non-mandatory (attendance) bid opening will be held at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Woodson County Conservation District, 218 W. Rutledge St., Suite 2, Yates Center, KS 66783.
Any bid and associated bid security received after the specified times will not be considered.
