The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) is renewing the Kansas Medicaid 1915(c) HCBS Brain Injury and Intellectual and Developmental Disability Waivers.

The proposed effective date for the renewed Brain Injury and Intellectual and Developmental Disability Waivers is July 1, 2024.

KDADS seeks public comments, from the general public, on the proposed waivers from February 15, 2024, until 12:00 a.m. March 16, 2024.

A draft copy of both proposed waivers may be accessed on the KDADS website at http://www.kdads.ks.gov (under the Long Term Services & Supports and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Programs) beginning on February 15, 2024, or requested from:
