STATE OBJECTIONS BOARD TO MEET

TOPEKA – The State Objections Board will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022. The meeting will be held at Memorial Hall (120 S.W. Tenth Street, Topeka) in the second-floor auditorium.

The State Objections Board, comprised of the Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General, will convene to discuss three election objections and determine the validity of each objection.

  • Objection 1: Regarding the objection to the results of the Republican primary election, submitted by Joan Farr, former Republican candidate for United States Senate
  • Objection 2: Regarding Leah Howell's candidacy for House District 82 and legal residence in the district, submitted by Misti Hobbs
  • Objection 3: Regarding Leah Howell's candidacy for House District 82 and legal residence in the district, submitted by Melissa McIntosh

This meeting is open to the public and the media.
