Job Requirements

      College degree from an accredited 4-year university (Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or Political Science majors preferred)

      Strong graphic design skills and experience

      Experience and expertise with PageMaker and Dreamweaver publishing software

      Experience writing and publishing newsletters

      Excellent oral and written communication skills

      Superior interpersonal skills including the ability to work in an office environment while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

      Comfortable learning new processes and adapting to change

      Able to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in work product

      Able to work under pressure including successfully meeting deadlines and due dates


Preferred Skills & Experience

      Strong editing skills

      2 - 4 years experience in a related field


Work Examples

Revise and update written and graphic content of agency web site; create, revise and maintain office forms; publish various newsletters; perform various constituent services; assist with the development of presentations and presentation handouts; write press releases and design brochures; assist with special projects.


Salary Range

Starting Salary: $13.81/hour ($28,724.80/annual)

      Pay increase after successful completion of 120-day probationary period to $14.14/hour ($29,411.20/annual)
