SECRETARY BIGGS TO ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF
INITIATIVES TO ENCOURAGE VOTER PARTICIPATION
TOPEKA, KS – Kansas Secretary of State Chris Biggs will launch Vote! Kansas 2010 initiatives at a news conference Wednesday, October 13th at 11:00 a.m. in the second floor conference room in the Memorial Building.
As part of the Vote! Kansas Initiative, Biggs will discuss measures designed to educate Kansans about early voting options including in-person advance voting, mail-in ballots, and satellite voting.
The Secretary of State will also demonstrate a new text messaging service for Vote! Kansas 2010.
