THORNBURGH AWARDS NASS MEDALLION
Topeka, KS– Today, Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh presented a longtime Johnson County Election Office employee with a NASS Medallion.
Karen Browning, who recently retired after more than 40 years of service to the county, was honored for her commitment to the office and dedication to the community.
“Karen’s lifelong service to our state’s elections process is remarkable. Over the last four decades, she has worked to ensure that the election office was prepared, friendly, and efficient. She will be greatly missed,” said Thornburgh.
NASS Medallion awards are given to honor outstanding efforts to promote or advance elections, civics education, or other Secretary of State functions.
