TOPEKA, KS – Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh announces Pomona native Cody Campfield’s participation in the office's 2008 Summer Intern Program. Cody is a 2008 graduate of West Franklin High School and will begin his freshman year at Kansas State University this fall.

Each summer the Secretary of State appoints students to work in the office by assisting in various projects and duties. These students gain valuable knowledge and experience from their time working with the agency.

"The students are a great asset and their help in making our agency the least complicated and most accessible in state government is greatly appreciated," Thornburgh said.
