WICHITA, KS- Today, Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh recognized two 2007 NASS Medallion award winners.

Laura Ice, Assistant General Counsel for the Cessna Finance Corporation, received the award in appreciation for her involvement in the development of the Kansas e-apostille.

“Laura’s involvement in the e-apostille process played an important role in bringing the business community to the table. As we continue to evolve and adapt to new technology, it is crucial that government understand what we can do to improve the ability of our Kansas companies to do business here and around the world. Laura was instrumental in that process.” said Thornburgh.

The Kansas e-apostille has been accepted as a model by the Hague Conference on Private International Law for the secure distribution of international documents.
