WICHITA, KS- Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh will recognize two 2007 NASS Medallion award winners at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007. The ceremony will take place in the Sudermann Room of the Wichita State University Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 19th Street.

Thornburgh will recognize Laura Ice, Assistant General Counsel for the Cessna Finance Corporation, for her work in the development of the Kansas e-apostille. He will also recognize Cox Communications for their efforts to expand the Kids Voting! Kansas program.

NASS Medallion awards are given to honor outstanding efforts to promote or advance elections, civics education, or other Secretary of State functions.
