BRYANT NAMED PRESIDENT OF NATIONAL ELECTIONS ORGANIZATION
TOPEKA, KS- Brad Bryant, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Election and Legislative Matters, is the new president of the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED).
Bryant’s one-year term began in February, and he has since presided over two NASED conferences, including the most recent conference last week in New Orleans.
“Brad has been a leader in the elections community for several years and I am confident that he will draw upon the great work he’s done here in Kansas to assist other states. As our elections process continues to evolve, it’s important that groups like NASED have capable and innovative people at the helm…and Brad is just that,” said Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh.
Bryant has been involved in the organization since becoming state election director in 1993 and has also served as treasurer, secretary and vice-president.
