SECRETARY OF STATE ANNOUNCES SUMMER INTERN
TOPEKA , KS – Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh announces Hoyt native Megan Kennedy's participation in the office's 2007 Summer Intern Program. Megan is a student at William Jewell College and volunteers her time at a number of local non-profit organizations.
Each summer the Secretary of State appoints students to work in the office by assisting in various projects and duties. These students gain valuable knowledge and experience from their time working with the agency.
"The students are a great asset and their help in making our agency the least complicated and most accessible in state government is greatly appreciated," Thornburgh said.
