TOPEKA , KS – Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh announces Paxico native Elisa Hund's participation in the office's 2007 Summer Intern Program. Elisa is a student at Benedictine College and plans to attend Graduate School upon completion of her Bachelor's Degree.

Each summer the Secretary of State appoints students to work in the office by assisting in various projects and duties. These students gain valuable knowledge and experience from their time working with the agency.

"The students are a great asset and their help in making our agency the least complicated and most accessible in state government is greatly appreciated," Thornburgh said.
