THORNBURGH ANNOUNCES THE FORMATION OF A
PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
TOPEKA , KS- Today, Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh announced the formation of a presidential primary advisory committee. The four member bi-partisan group will explore timing options for a 2008 Kansas Presidential Primary.
“The members of this committee represent a broad spectrum of political views and experience. Working together, I believe that we can determine a date that will have the most national and local significance. It has been 15 years since Kansans were able to express their opinions in a presidential primary; it is time we give democracy her voice back,” said Thornburgh.
