The program, which is sponsored by the Aspen Institute, focuses on bringing together bipartisan groups of governmental leaders to discuss the ethics and responsibilities of public leadership in a democratic society.
“I feel honored to have the opportunity to meet with such a dedicated group of national leaders. I am certain that the lessons I will take away from the fellowship will prove valuable as I continue my work for the people of Kansas.” said Thornburgh.
Each year, the fellowship class is made up of 12 Democrats and 12 Republicans from across the nation. For a complete roster, visit www.aspeninstitute.org.
