TOPEKA, KS - Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh will convene a meeting of the State Board of Canvassers at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, in the Secretary of State’s office, Memorial Hall, second floor. The board will meet to certify the results of the general election.

The board is defined by statute and comprised of Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh, Governor Kathleen Sebelius and Attorney General Phill Kline.

Upon concluding the canvass, the general election results will be deemed official and available to the public.
