KANSAS AND ACCENTURE CONCLUDE
CENTRAL VOTER REGISTRATION PROJECT BY AGREEMENT
Topeka, KS – Today, Kansas Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh announced that the contract with Accenture has been concluded by agreement. The contract was to deliver by January 2006 a centralized voter registration and election management system that would have helped Kansas meet the requirements of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA).
The Secretary of State’s office will work under the state purchasing guidelines to negotiate a contract with a different vendor to complete the work of HAVA.
