SECRETARY OF STATE ANNOUNCES SUMMER INTERNS
Topeka, KS – Secretary of State Ron Thornburgh today announced the interns for the Secretary of State’s Office 2004 Summer Internship Program. Josh Hersh, son of Tim and Denise Hersh; John Bostwick, son of Pete and Chelle Bostwick; Erika Enstrom, daughter of Thomas and Cynthia Enstrom; Sarah Edwards, daughter of Sid and Debbie Edwards; Samuel Long, son of Brenden and Alaire Long; and Bree L. Spritzer, daughter of David and Debbie Spritzer, join the office from Topeka.
Samuel Long and Bree Spritzer are also participating in the Team Topeka Youth Employment Program sponsored by Parks and Recreation of Topeka.
"The summer internship program provides students valuable skills that will aid them in future career opportunities," stated Thornburgh. "The summer interns are a great asset to our agency and to the customers we serve. We appreciate their contribution!"
Each summer the Secretary of State appoints students to work in the office to assist in various projects, gaining valuable knowledge and hands on work experience.
